Erik Wilhelm Sturm, Los Angeles native, started his career in production at the Roger Corman Studios in Venice, California, as a scenic intern working on the TV series Black Scorpion. He later went on to work as a Production Assistant at the 5th & Sunset Studios out of West Los Angeles. It was here that he worked on photo shoots.

Erik started playing the Spanish guitar at the age of 9, after being inspired by his mother and cousins that were playing in popular rock bands. He wnet on to play in rock bands, perform solo in coffeee shops in the USA and abroad.

Erik Wilhelm Sturm is a native Angelino of American and Chilean parents. He started painting by the age of 7 years old and was tutored by his grandmother Marie who had been animator for Hana Barbera and Walt Disney studios. Erik continued painting and drawing as young boy into his teens.
